GoAERO - Phase 1

This project focused on designing a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft to support emergency rescue operations.
As part of Team TALON Lift at the EFRC, I led the propulsion system and avionics development. I selected and integrated key components, ran simulations to optimize performance, and created detailed 3D models and engineering drawings in CATIA for both propulsion and structural assemblies. We worked together to solve design challenges, finding effective solutions through collaboration. Our team won the NASA University Innovation Award for our Phase 1 design.
